AVS4You is an interesting “all inclusive” collection of software programs that has been around for a while. Just recently, they are offering 70% off, which prompted us to do some research on their product and its value for money.
The idea behind AVS4You is certainly a good one. AVS4You consists of just about every software program you could ever want, and you pay a flat fee to use ALL their programs. They have video, audio, image and misc. software – in total several dozen programs.
Each software program included is professionally coded and unique. The estimated costs of developing all of these would easily be tens of thousands of dollars, perhaps well over $100,000 even.
Actually, you’ll often find programs that perform the same functions of just one of the software titles in AVS4You that are sold for around $30-50. If each of the AVS4You programs were sold individually, it would take over a thousand dollars to buy them all if they were priced normally.
Amazingly enough though an unlimited usage license with AVS4You is only $59 with their recent 70% off discount, so you can see the value here.
With that price I brought a subscription and started playing around with some of their programs. So far, we’re all very impressed, especially with their photo editing tool. These programs are continually updated and work well. In fact, although we brought a license just for the purpose of this news article, it turns out that some of these programs have come in very handy.
Reviews online are also highly favourable (except for one blogger who complains that the license could only be used on one computer – the terms and conditions clearly state this). Obviously, the developers behind AVS4You have put in an enormous amount of work into their software programs, and it clearly shows.
Perhaps the only negative is that there is no phone support (only email). Most of the programs, though, are very straightforward to use and perform one specific function. They are also heavily tested and updated to remove any bugs, so it’s unlikely that you will ever need to contact support.
My own view is that AVS4You is extremely good value and a no-brainer for anyone who works with video, image or audio files.
