Glenn Beck is taking increasing heat after his comments on Malia Obama. Listeners of his show were shocked as he ranted on about Obama’s daughter, making fun of the way she asked her father about the oil spill. He was also found making racial comments on Obama.
Not surprisingly, not everyone was amused by Beck’s latest antics. He has since apologized for the way he acted, but many feel that this is not enough, given how Beck never seems to face the consequences for his actions.
To take a stand against the controversial radio host, a new “anti-beck” group has been formed on Facebook.
Barry Pavlich, who began the group, has strong feelings about the issue. “Glenn Beck is a total douchebag who constantly spews BS theories and is largely responsible for the ignorance of many people in America. I’d like nothing more than to see him taken off air.”
Personally, I’m in favor of the group, although I can’t claim to feel as strongly as some of the anti-beck guys. What are YOUR thoughts? Post a comment below.

People are going to do things or say things that they have to stop and say, that was wrong of me. That’s why we have erasers on pencils. I have listened to Beck’s Fox Program and found, with checking his information, that he is opening the eyes of not only myself, but many, many people in this nation. I truly believe that he is the most feared man in Progressive and Liberal circles because he is pulling down the curtain they have been operating behind. The more the Left hate him the more others are sitting up and taking notice. What they find is startling because they are coming to the conclusion that our whole system is corrupt – with the Media the most culpable, nothing more than a propaganda machine for Progressives and the Left. Of course, considering that over 90% of the mainstream media fits into that category, its not surprising. Beck rocks! However, when it comes to the President’s daughters – they are NOT fair game.

Progressives cannot win debate on substance or on facts so they seek to shut down their victor. If Beck is wrong the Piss-stream media would have gone wall-to-wall proving it.
The boycott groups are cowardly and disgraceful chicken-sh!t way avoiding the question for which Beck has us all asking?

Funny how dozens of ppl made fun of Sarah Palins daughter but no one in the media said anything about it! Sarah said it many times and she is proven to be right…when obama says lay off the kids, people respect that, no one repected Palins wishes even before her daughter was 18, (she was 17, ‘a child’) when the news of her pregnancy broke. Malia and Bristol need to both be off limits both sides stop being hypocrits!

This man is a sick, mean, nasty bully who knew exactly what he was doing. Two days previous to his FOUR MINUTE attack on a child he made a statement that children were off limits and then he proceeds to deliberately hurt a child. There is something wrong with him and any one who thinks he “rocks” might want to re think their cheering on a grown man who displays such cowardly despicable behavoir. Cheering on a bully is not sane behavior.

Fox wants to be known as “Fair and Balanced” Why is there no record on Fox website about the comments and insulting radio program in reference to Malia Obama by Glenn Beck. Malia is only 11 years old and Mr. Beck comments mocking Malia are very damaging to a child. As adults we must be held to a high accountability when it comes to children. Mr. Beck actions on his radio show was the same as a Bully at a school or play ground teasing a child. He may have just wanted to hurt her father but ended up hurting a child. Those comments will be with Malia forever. What a shame.

Glenn, please grow up. You have proved to be nasty, tasteless, and rude.

@DesertCactus
That people need a good-for-nothing clown like beck to tell them about corruption in the US, is very telling about the level of intelligence of his audience. Beck himself is a propaganda machine. He writes books and little novels that have to do with his agenda and tells you which books to buy all fall into his agenda. With his chalkboards and all his Nazi and soviet props. Scaring the viewer coercing them even into believing what he says. Hitler was a megalomaniac he would be talking strongly at some point screaming, and then he would get quiet, tearful even. Who else have I seen do that? Oh yeah… Beck!!! Pulling down the curtains…. yeah right. The man is a puppet for the agenda of corporations like NewsCorp. He’s not pulling any curtains down he’s just putting newer ones in place.

I find it interesting that members of the left — liberals and progressives — want oppossing points of view “taken off the air” as Barry Pavlich advocates. What happened to the “marketplace of ideas”? Or my personal favorite, “I may not agree with what they say, but i will die for their right to say it.” Apparantly these views are to be said only at home in the closet and not on the air.
Now as far as Back’s comments go, you have to rmember that Obama brought up his daughter saying that she came to him and asked when the oil spill would be plugged. Although I firmly believe that his daughters are NOT fodder for the media, Obama should use some commons sense and not try to make a political point using his daughter.

Actually, liberals hate him because he ties complete crap together to make a story. And ignorant people like you actually believe what he says. It’s hard to believe a self admitted entertainer can get so many people behind him. That’s the scary thing. That people believe this guy is actually opening their eyes.

glenn beck is showing his true colors. I think that he is one of the dumbest talk show host on tv today. He is continually spewing hate and in my personal opinion false accusations about many people in the world today. I don’t believe that his opinion matters to the vast majority of americans, but to his base which is bascially white republicans thinking that this will change their mind in anyway about him is probably a pipedream, they are so angry that a black democrat beat them in a national election, one last thing im not a democrat im an american that has voted for republicans and democrats both in the past. But to be honest i sincerely doubt that i will ever vote republican again, they have become a racist, cry baby party and all i hear from fox news which by the way is the republican national media not a fair and balanced news station that they are the most bias news organization around in today society. If it was up to me i would yank fox news and glenn beck off the television on the grounds of drumming up hate in america and false reporting. i know that won’t happen so the only thing me and millions of americans can do is stop watching fox news completely if they won’t use commonsense and honesty in their reporting we have the right to hurt them in the only place that matters in their ratings. Lets all boycott fox news until they become a real news station that gives u real news that is true and accurate. Not their opinion which is now bias and not true on many accounts. ONe more thing about beck he claims he is so religious then i would ask him to open the bible up and read it. Treat people how u would want to be treated beck. if u keep spewing your hatrd what are u going to say at the pearly gates of heaven.

It is amazing how hated Glenn Beck is and all he continues to do is enlighten people all over the country about the truth! Not one liberal, progressive or the mainstream media has yet to prove anything he has claimed is false, yet they continue to bash the man. Yes, he was wrong by imitating the President’s daughters, but he is a real man to have apologized for what he has done, unlike Clinton who lied to the American public and then tried to make the same American people look stupid by saying “it depends on what the definition of is is?” And our most recent coward who claimed he was a Vietnam war veteran over and over again, and then claimed he had used a “few misplaced words.” Man-up! Glenn Beck begs to be proven wrong, but it can’t be done! Glen Beck is my hero!!!!!!
Posted on June 1st, 2010 at 4:30 pm
Thank God for Glenn Beck who is not afraid to speak the truth!
As usual, the idiots who are demanding more than an apology are just looking for a reason to stop Beck from exposing who they really are.
I don’t see anyone complaining about the terrible and disgusting things that are said about Palin and her family. Give me a break! You got the apology – that’s enough.
I’m waiting for an apology from Obama for lying to the American people during his campaign.
I also want an apology for allowing the murder of thousands of babies every day.
I also want him and the Democrat cronies to apologies for allowing the Mexican president to put down Arizona.
I also want Obama to apologize for 20 years of listening to Rev Wright and Bill Ayers
But let’s not worry about that – let’s just worry about taking Beck off the air! This way Obama and all his supporters to could business as usual.
Thank God for Beck and Fox news. (I used the work “God” – I guess the idiots on the left will want an apology for that too!)
Posted on June 1st, 2010 at 4:47 pm
Yeah, just like the Liberals left Palin’s daughters off the media circus
Posted on June 1st, 2010 at 4:51 pm
I doubt Obama’s daughter ever said that to him. Obama is the type that will make this crap up. Beck is right on when it comes to telling people of the evil of this current regime.I am not in favor of making fun of anyone’s children at any time, but the Chicago Street thug could have changed up the wording as to what his daughter said, if she did indeed say it. Obama’s an idiot for for using those words, he knew what people would say about that and he knew exactly what he was saying. Too bad Shelly didn’t say it, we all could have had a blast with that one. Long live Beck and the hell with Barry Pavlick.
Posted on June 1st, 2010 at 5:14 pm
I can’t even take this response commentary seriously. Why? Mr. Pavlich is doing the identical behavior that he is so vehemently denouncing. Why is Mr. Beck any less worthy of our respect than the president’s daughter? Are we more worthy of respect because of our position or a title we may hold? We are made in the image of a creator that has called us to put aside our differences and live at peace among ourselves. Blessed are the peacemakers. How can impact our world in a way that unites people? A people, a house, a republic divided will not stand!

Are you kidding me? Beck is for small government and fisc responsibility. Beck loves his country. Why is everything about race???????????? Becks theories come from becks listeners you moron!

Glenn Beck is an idiot.

I recently started listening to Glenn on my morning commute to work and occasionally DVR his tv show. I’ve found his shows, for the most part, are pretty reasonable and educational. It’s hard to know where the line is between right-wing theory and true US History, but I’m starting to draw my own conclusions about this tainted system of ours. I was listening to this rant as it occured on the morning radio show and at first didn’t notice it was bad until I went back and read the transcript. I saw this as Obama trying to lessen the blow on himself for this oil spill disaster by bringing in a cute distraction. That may not have been his motive, but, this put aside, Beck’s rant did go too far. But, he apologized and there isn’t much more he can do aside from trying to better apply the morals he talks about everyday. I think this is being blown out of proportion by many who want Beck gone and who will use ANY reason to start a boycott. Let me assure anyone reading, I voted for Obama and have been proud of my decision almost everyday and in almost all of his decisions, but I am not so blind that I will ignore the truth simply because of a D or an R on my voter registration card. I hope and pray that I am not the only one. Let’s be Americans, let’s get back to real morals and values whether they be drawn from Christianity, Judaism, Islam, or simply from knowing what is right and wrong. Let’s stop this back and forth about “my party being better than your party” and realize that parties are NOT as important as American values and we should NEVER compromise those values, for anyone or anything!

Nobody takes you liberals serious about accusations of racism when you brush off the outwardly racist comments Obama & his administration have made about white people “Typical”, “Bitter white people”; Eric Holder-”Nation of Cowards on race”; Van Jones the black supremacist; Reverend Wright & of course Sonia Sotomayor “A Wise latina interprets the law better than a white man”. Furthermore, you picked on George W Bush for being a racist about Katrina, he visited NO! Obama didn’t even show his face in Nashville! But you liberals only believe that white people are racist! Please! BARACK OBAMA DOES NOT CARE ABOUT WHITE PEOPLE

Glen would have never mentioned Obama’s daughter if Obama hadn’t tried to use his daughter as a ploy to convince the American people of his involment in the oil diaster from day one. I didn’t understand why Obama brought his daughter into the matter anyway, how is that suppose to prove his concern for the diaster? That being said no children should be brought into adult problems and no children should ever be critized or belittled. However, Glen Beck is a human being just like all of us. At least he has a conscience and realizes when he needs to apologize. What I admire about Glen is he is man enough to admit when he’s wrong, he doesn’t mind humbling himself instead of blaming everybody under the sun. I admire Glen’s religious conviction and I believe that he is truly trying to do his best to educate the American people of the corruption that has been in the goverment long before Obama’s administration. I feel good knowing that there is someone in the media who isn’t afraid to say that God is alive in his heart and soul. I agree with Glen’s religious convictions, he brings me a peace knowing that he loves the Lord. No one is perfect in this world; perhaps just once when someone realizes they were wrong and feels the need to apologize; the other party should step up to the plate and accept the apology. Maybe love could replace hate. Maybe God could be replaced in the country’s heart.

To mock a child is childish. This particular display confirmed what I already knew about Beck. How childish.

I love how every single far left liberal (and I refuse to use a term like progressive which has a nice connotation and is certainly not reflective of an oft repeated failed socialist doctrine from the 20th centure) always claim that people that disagree with them are ignorant; what a tired and ridiculous defense to stand in place of any real debate or facts.
I suggest you thank all those ignorant fiscal conservatives out there who are paying your way in the world and actually busy improving the standard of living in this country………..so you can continue spouting your far left antiquated socialist agenda to the public while living off the real contributors.

It is amazing how many people will defend hurting children just to make a political point. I can’t imagine that anyone who has defended this grown man who attacked an 11 year old child isn’t looking at themselves and asking why do I think its OK to harm a child, let me rethink this. In any civilized society you do not hurt a child under any circumstances. Common decency demands children not be attacked even if you feel negatively about the parent.

I kiss the ground Glenn Beck walks on. He believes in God and truly loves America. He is an American that believes in the constitution and the freedom of the people. Read all the other negative comments about Beck on this site. Have they taken one of his points and disproved it? Or have they just mocked, criticized and belittled him? He is definitely not perfect and has fessed up to what he had done wrong. When is the last time that was done by a public figure? This county is becoming more split by the day and I want to be on Beck’s side. He represents the truth, God and honor. Of course, I am proabably stupid. But I love my country and for what it stands. I have seen nothing in my government recently that would give me any reason to support them. I pray we all find God in our lives. When I see the hate that spews out on the Internet, prayer is our only hope!

Love to see an IQ test of the Beck followers. Beck cried because James Gandolfino ie Tony Soprano dissed him in front of his kid, goes on an on about it, and a week later ridicules a little girl. What a hero and an eye opener! What a man! What a coward.
