Viralsocialite.com has been inundated with over 200 spam comments over the last three hours, promoting a product called “Interactive SEO Money by Fionn Downhill”. The comments were posted from dozens of different IP’s (probably a single person using proxies) and under many different names.
Whoever is spamming this product around the web is obviously doing it pretty heavily, because there are already a couple other reports of people that got a huge amount of spam email recommending this product.
Here’s what the spam comment we keep getting says:
Great information, thanks! I actually came across your blog after buying http://interactiveseomoney.blogspot.com/ and i thought id let you know this is an AMAZING product! im already making a ton of money from it. for anyone who is thinking of buying this, my advice is to get it now before the price goes up!
It’s worth checking out this thing just for entertainment value. According to their spammy salespage, it is possible to get “#1 Google rankings for any keyword” instantly just by putting some code on your website. You can generate all the money you need for some expensive holiday in just one day! And best of all, after making a fortune off this “secret”, they are giving it away for just $10! Sounds like a good deal doesn’t it.
It never ceases to amaze me that there are still people who fall for things like this. That’s a topic for another day though. Actually, it seems at least a few people did buy it, because I found these reports when searching for the product on Google:

The product, by Fionn Downhill, doesn’t have an affiliate program (it just tries to get you to send them money by PayPal), so I’m assuming this Fionn Downhill person is the one that is responsible for spamming it on our blog.
I did a quick Google search on their name and it looks like this is definitely a real person. They have a company called “elixir interactive” which offers SEO services. Judging by their Interactive SEO Money product, though, I don’t think I would want to hire them.
